New Statistics From VCig Support Growing Electronic Cigarette Popularity
Initial fourth-quarter figures from VCig indicate that innovative smoke-free products may soon be the purchase of choice for smokers
Most electronic cigarette retailers would advise the public that this industry is an area of the economy that is growing at a rapid rate, despite the tough climate. This week, for example, South Beach Smoke announced a sales increase of over 60% in only two weeks – big news for the Florida-based company, and a great indication that the market is heading for big things for the Christmas and New Year period.
To complement the successes of South Beach Smoke, firms from the other side of the pond seem to also be celebrating a significant boost in sales. VCig, arguably the UK’s most customer-focused online e-cigarette retailer, has recently expanded its in-house sales team in order to cater for increased demand for the product, but in addition, Managing Director Ben Austin has reported a near 200% increase in orders of electronic cigarette starter kits alone via the eCommerce site in just over a month.
